Flogging Molly, "These Exiled Years" from Swagger (St. Mike Papa Whiskey)
Commentary: My best church friend, November Victor, has been witheringly critical of my dismay over the essential interdict against the faithful throughout these United States, effectively banning them from the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Yet, in a discussion we had yesterday, he was incredulous at the very real prospect that the faithful will be banned from the Paschal Triduum liturgies—the Chrism Mass & the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, the Veneration of the Cross on Good Friday, & the Paschal Vigil on Holy Saturday. I sincerely hope the interdict against the faithful is lifted, but given the ever-tightening web of government control of every facet of life, this is merely wishful thinking. I will watch with great interest & concern for his reaction once this probability comes to pass.
