The bathroom scale is provided wildly inconsistent results, varying by nearly four pounds (4 lbs.) from one measurement to the next. Replacing the batteries did not remedy the inconsistency. I'm willing to face bad news—the prospect of a massive weekly weight gain—but there's no point if I cannot have confidence in the measurements. The Weekly Wednesday Weigh-in cannot resume 'til a replacement has been acquired.
