Skammentary: "Force Ten from Navarone" follows in several ska traditions. The Skatalites covered "Guns of Navarone," the theme to the film The Guns of Navarone (1961), in 1965. Bombskare have an interest in films, with songs called "Bondtrack," also on A Fistful of Dynamite, & "Where Eagles Dare," from The Day the Earth Stood Stupid. Both album titles also reference well-known films. I don't know the music from the film Force 10 from Navarone well enough to point out when it is featured in "Force Ten from Navarone," but I'm sure it's there.
