Skammentary: On the ska-punk spectrum, The Suicide Machines definitely tend toward the punk end, which explains but does not excuse their long absense from SKApril, having only made their debut in SKApril XII (2022).
"New Girl" does not contradict my thesis that romantic love never works out in third-wave ska-punk. I would maintain that the blossoming romance hasn't yet had the chance to turn sour, but that it will.
Just in case you weren't already feeling ancient, Destruction by Definition was released in 1996; actress Giorgia Whigham (above) was born in 1997.
