30 St. Mary Axe (A.K.A. "The Gherkin")—A skyscraper in the City of London, opened in April 2004, built on the site of the Baltic Exchange, an architectural landmark damaged beyond repair in a 1992 terrorist bombing; designed by Foster + Partners & constructed by Skanska; during construction, the skeleton of a teenage girl from Roman London was discovered, & eventually reburied on the site.Semper exploro.
