29 May 1925: The last letter from Colonel Percy Fawcett to his wife was dispatched via native runner from Dead Horse Camp, deep in the Amazon jungle of Brazil; Fawcett, Jack Fawcett (Percy's son), & Raleigh Rimmel were about to cross the Upper Xingu River into unexplored territory in search of the "Lost City of Z;" the three men disappeared without a trace, & their remains have never been found.
