Commentary: Corpus Christi is the fourth of four consecutive blockbuster Sundays that conclude the Eastertide & add a little pizzazz to the resumption of Ordinary Time: the Ascension, Pentecost, the Most Holy Trinity, & Corpus Christi (both the Ascenion & Corpus Christi are transferred from the more theologically appropriate preceding Thursdays).
