Skammentary: Last week, during the vacation Bible school at my parish that bills itslef as not being vacation Bible school, one of the presenting missionaries asked me, "So, which kids are yours?" I answered her very reasonable question by telling her it was a very reasonable question but that I had never been blessed with children. Nor a wife, I did not add.
"Maybe I'm better alone, maybe it helps me see,
Well one thing's for certain, I just know I have to be free,
I've waited forever, what's one more day?
I've waited forever, why can't I walk away?
I'm sitting here beside myself, oh what could I do?
But I've learned my lesson and I need something new…"
