Operation AXIOM
Labor Day doesn't coincide with the autumnal equinox, the meteorological end of summer, but it does mark, with a bright, shining line, the social end of the summer.

"The cruel, hot summer
led into the long, hard fall,
becoming the dark, killing winter,
until spring replenished us all."

To your health & happiness throughout this long, hard fall.

The Rebel Black Dot Song of the Day
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, "Wasted Summers" from Pin Points and Gin Joints (T.L.A.M.)

Commentary: The last day of summer. The heat will return, & could well linger for quite some time to come, but the summer is no more. Football has come, Labor Day has come & gone, & another summer is gone—much, much too swiftly. I considered "End of the Long Summer" by Potshot for the R.B.D.S.O.T.D, but this summer was anything but long. Was this a wasted summer? Maybe, maybe not. When in doubt, Bosstones.
