The Stars My Destination
Code Name: CHAOS
Following up from an earlier post speculating about whether SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsules would be named & by whom (Wayback Machine-link), the crew of the upcoming Demo-2 mission to the International Space Station, Doug Hurley & Bob Behnken, have announced that they have selected a name for their spacecraft, which they plan to reveal on launch day, presently on-schedule for Wednesday, 27 May: Spaceflight Now-link. If all goes to plan, Demo-2 will be the first launch of a manned orbital spacecraft from the United States since 8 July 2011—STS-135, the last flight of the Space Shuttle.
Godspeed, Bob & Doug!
