These United States of America in particular & the West in general stand at a fork in the road. Will we choose to survive & to thrive, or will we continue to commit slow-motion suicide? The Didache (the "Teaching") is an ancient document, the oldest non-Biblical Christian writing; it opens by presenting a stark but accurate assessment of the world (Didache, 1:1):

There are two ways: one of life and one of death; however, there is a great difference between the two ways.
