Operation AXIOM: Between the Wars
14 February 1926: The Bamberg Conference—Sixty leading Nazis met in Upper Franconia to resolve tensions between the Munich leadership of the party (Rudolf Heß, Wilhelm Frick, et al.) & the more socialist northern faction (Gregor Strasser, Joseph Goebbels, et al.); Bamberg affirmed that Nazism was based not principally on policies, but on Adolf Hitler himself (Führerprinzip, "Leader Principle").Lest we forget.
