What a race! Audi prevailed in L.M. P.1 over stiff competition from both Toyota & Porsche; A Nissan-powered car prevailed in L.M. P.2—surprise, surprise; Ferrari prevailed over Corvette in G.T.E. Pro.; & the same Aston Martin squad that lost Allan Simonsen last year prevailed in G.T.E. Am. "It always rains at Le mans," & this year was no exception, though the rain was confined to sudden downpours in the first few hours, nothing sustained. What a great, great race! I'm so pleased, so happy. I'd gush more, but I'm having real trouble focusing, due to fatigue, too much Red Bull, & too much beer. Le Mans! Le Mans! Le Mans!
