Operation AXIOM: The World War—The Finnish Civil War, Part I
27 January-18 March 1918: The Battles of Kämärä (27 January) & Vilppula (31 January-18 March)—As the Grand Duchy of Finland, an autonomous part of the disintegrating Russia, moved toward independence, the debate between the Bolshevik-backed Finnish People's Delegation ("Reds") & the broad, German-backed, anti-communist Senate coalition ("Whites") broke into open warfare.
Lest we forget.
