Not so long ago, I was ecstatic to find my weight beneath the once-seemingly impenetrable three hundred thirty-pound (330 lbs.) barrier, but now I find myself vaguely dissatisfied that I've made so little progress over the last fortnight. I ought to have lost four pounds (4 lbs.), two pounds per week, not four-fifths of one pound (4/5 lbs.). Drat it all!
What is the appropriate response? The nihilistic "Honey badger don't care" or Philip Rivers's vivifying "Nunc cœpi" ("Now I begin")? Of course "Nunc cœpi," but it's more devilish fun to say—
—even though the mere existence of these Operation ÖSTERREICH posts prove otherwise.
