Sam Smith, "Writing's on the Wall" from the Writing's on the Wall single (The Last Angry Spy)
Commentary: Spectre is a tire fire of a movie, ill-conceived & poorly executed from beginning to end. Among the many things wrong with Spectre is the theme song, "Writing's on the Wall," which comes oh so close to being fine, even good, if only it wasn't for the stupid falsetto. Despite this obvious & persistent shortcoming, "Writing's on the Wall" is growing on me, lest it would not have been yesterday's R.B.D.S.O.T.D. By way of contrast, Spectre is not growing on me; I hate that movie.
