Skammentary: I know, I know, everything sucks, & I agree. 2021 was supposed to be a return to normalcy after the annus horribilis of 2020, only for '21 to be an annus horribilis, too; not the same as '20, but an annus horribilis all the same, & with three-plus months left to go, it might still get worse. Everything sucks!
Yet—yet!—there is this: "Everything Sucks" is a fun, catchy, & somewhat poignant song, & right now, for this brief moment in time during the private Inspiration4 spaceflight aboard the Crew Dragon Resilience before the Chinese Shenzhou 12 crew departs the Tiangong space station, there is a record number of human persons in orbit of the good Earth: fourteen. What a time to be alive!
