Commentary: Today, my fellow parishioners & I are scheduled to deck the halls of Saint Matthew, Flint, for Christmas. Monday, 23 December, after the last Mass of Advent, would have been the ideal day, but we have Eucharistic Adoration scheduled for the afternoon; so, that wasn't an option. Decking the halls on Christmas Eve, before the 4:30 P.M. Mass, wasn't seriously considered.
