Commentary: The title is a play on the Mad magazine comic strip Spy vs. Spy, which is also the label we here at The Secret Base use for posts that touch on espionage, both actual & fictional.
Shawn, Gus, Juliet, Lassiter, & Chief Vick encounter a Treasury agent (played by Lou Diamond Phillips) who has a psychic on the federal payroll. The Treasury psychic turns out to be in cahoots with the forger all the law enforecement agents are pursuing, & she is his eventual killer. The weakness of the episode is that Shawn reveals that all of her supposed psychic knowledge came from knowing, & killing, the suspect, leaving unexplained how she was able to convince the feds that she was a psychic in the first place.
