No Glasgow smile/Chelsea grin for me, Dreamer, my beautiful & bountiful beard is yet in place for another week & a half. Though I did have some very unpleasant dreams last night (borderline nightmares, really) about what I'll look like once the beard has been shorn. Eek!
***same comment as before, but with a few typographical errors mended***
There is no significance in dreams (the nighttime variety, not the aspirational variety), and yet no lesser an authority than the Bard tells us, "There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Plus, Doctor Who has taught me that warnings do not always come in on hailing frequencies, but from sources far more askew. "Hm!" indeed.
I hope to retrieve my restored, revitalized HAL tomorrow afternoon, on the assumption that the Genuises know their business.
There is just over a week remaining before the B.B.B. II makes way for the Magnificent Moustache Malarkey. Lots more commentary in the week to come, if all goes well with my HAL, and then a final round of beard and shaving photographs on the eve of "Cinco de Moustache!"

Why is this man smiling? This sounds like a catastrophic shaving incident to me.

While I'm thinking of it, good luck with your HAL situation.
Parenthetically: You're the third person I've 'spoken' to who had unpleasant dreams that night. Hm!

PS I'm still following the beard project with great interest.
