No, why should you? Yes, you introduced me to the band Beirut (and my thanks for that), but the R.B.D.S.O.T.D. is the Song of the Day, not the Band of the Day; you introduced me to "Nantes," not "The Flying Club Cup." Should I give a partial nod to Reel Big Fish every time Mu330 furnishes the R.B.D.S.O.T.D., because I first saw Mu330 opening for R.B.F.? I think not.
That said, any full-blown R.B.D.S.O.T.D. suggestions in future will always be most welcome.
I appreciate that, Watergirl. I've never used all of the nautical songs as a travel series for the simple reason that I've never traveled by sea. I intend both those "nevers" to be "not yets."
Also, the choice of "The Flying Club Cup" as the R.B.D.S.O.T.D. doesn't refer to transcontinental air travel, but to my mother gifting my dad with a joyride in a vintage World War II aircraft as his sixtieth birthday present.

I'mma find you some more transportation songs. Great Big Sea has some, though they tend to be about boats, of course.
