Project BLACK MAMBA: Christmastide

'Tis the Memorial of Saints Basil the Great & Gregory Nazianzen, Bishops & Doctors of the Church (329-379 & circa 329-390): Saint-link Bravo ūnus, Saint-link Bravo duo, & Wikipedia-link Bravo; & Saint-link Golf ūnus, Saint-link Golf duo, & Wikipedia-link Golf.

Commentary: Wayback Machine. Quoth the Holy Redeemer bulletin:
Basil was an influential theologian who supported the Nicene Creed & opposed the heresies of the early Christian church. Gregory… is remembered as the "Trinitarian Theologian." Much of his theological work continues to influence modern theologians, especially in regard to the relationship among the three Persons of the Trinity.
The redacted line from St. Gregory's portion of the bulletin reads "brother of Basil the Great." This is a honest & understandable mistake by the bulletin editor, as St. Basil did have a brother, St. Gregory of Nyssa (10 January), a contemporary of today's duo; the trio, St. Basil & the Ss. Gregory, are remembered as the "Cappadocian Fathers" (Wikipedia-link).
