Also known as Three Kings' Day, it is a… feast day that celebrates the revelation of God the Son as a human being in Jesus Christ. In Western Christianity, the feast commemorates principally (but not solely) the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, & thus Jesus's physical manifestation to the Gentiles.Scripture of the Day

Reflection by Matthew Kelly, founder of the Dynamic Catholic Institute
Everything in life requires courage. Whether it is playing or coaching football, crossing the room to ask a girl out on a date or rekindling a love that has grown cold, starting a new business, battling a potentially fatal disease, getting married, struggling to overcome addiction, or coming humbly before your God in prayer, life requires courage. Courage is essential to the human experience. It animates us, brings us to life, & makes everything else possible. And yet, courage is the rarest quality in a human person. The measure of your life is the measure of your courage.
