The Rebel Black Dot Song o' the Day: SKApril X
The Dendrites, "Turkey Shoot" from the Fly Casual E.P. (Rude Boy Mike Papa Whiskey)
Skammentary: "Turkey Shoot" is an instrumental piece, as are all four songs on the Fly Casual E.P. Elsewhere, the Dendrites have a vocalist & lyrics, but if there is a defining trait of the emerging fourth wave of ska, it is a far greater number of intrumentals compared to the wordier third wave of my wayward youth. I guess we'll have to start shouting, when the witless banter goes on too long at the rock show, "Shut up & play!" instead of "Shut up & sing!"
