Commentary: In many ways, playing against our illiterate in-state rivals is a no-win proposition: If the valiant Wolverines prevail, this is no great triumph, merely a restoration of the natural order; if the dastardly Spartans prevail, they will crow about it for the whole next year, because their lives are empty & meaningless except for their envious hatred of us.
