8 August 1973: Garriott & Lousma conducted an E.V.A. to deploy a twin-pole sunshade to supplement the rapidly deteriorating parasol deployed during Skylab 2, & to load the Apollo Telescope Mount with film canisters; behind schedule due to their initial space sickness, the Skylab 3 trio worked fervently to catch up, not eating meals together so that someone was always at work during their waking hours.
