Thomas Patten Stafford (born 17 September 1930), Lieutenant General, U.S. Air Force—He flew Gemini VI-A (1965), Gemini IX-A (1966), Apollo 10 (Charlie Brown & Snoopy, 1969), & the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (1975); he was the first astronaut to pilot a Lunar Module around the Moon; he initiated the F-117 Nighthawk "stealth fighter" & B-2 Spirit "stealth bomber" development programs.Commentary: As as this publication, Lieutenant General Stafford is still alive, aged, ninety-two.
