Skammentary: "Shed Some Skin" is a very wordy song, including a reference to "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" & the longstanding definition of the word "gay." But what I find so compelling about it is the driving rhythm of the electric organ & the blaring horns.
"I saw what's wrong but I didn't see how,
I saw, I saw we're all grown up now…
"And my breathing constricts,
I feel the walls closing in,
Could it be that finally we're all
Shedding some skin?"
