Today is the optional memorial of Saint Isidore the Farmer (c. 1070-1130): Saint-link ūnus, Saint-link duo, & Wikipedia-link.

Commentary: Quoth the bulletin:
For the greater part of his life he was employed as a laborer on a farm outside the city. He was favored with celestial visions &, it is said, the angels sometimes helped him in his work in the fields. In 1947, he was proclaimed the patron of the National Rural Conference of the United States.
