Operation AXIOM
10 August 1972: The Great Daylight Fireball—Meteor US19720810, A.K.A. the Grand Teton Meteor, passed within thirty-five miles of the Earth's surface on a one-hundred-second atmospheric flight from Utah, U.S.A. to Alberta, Canada; witnesses heard sonic booms & described the fireball as passing directly overhead; it is unknown if US19720810 was an icy comet or a rocky-metallic asteroid.
