Bayh was one of the thirteen Democratic senators to vote against Secretary Rice's appointment to run the State Department. Why? Because he wants to be president and it's never too early to start moving to the Left to cozy up to Democratic primary voters ahead of the 2008 contest. Cynical motherfucker.
