Commentary: I considered "American Pie," a song ostensibly about the Day the Music Died (the deaths in a plane crash on 3 February 1959, of musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, & J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson & pilot Roger Peterson) but thought the far more amusing parody of same, "The Saga Begins," much more my speed this morning.
