Operation AXIOM: The World War
17 July 1917: George V (1865-1936, reigned 1910-1936), king of the United Kingdom & the British Dominions & emperor of India, restyled the name of his royal house from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor, in part due to the notoriety of the Gotha bombers then raining death & destruction on London; George V was a first cousin of the Prussian king & German emperor, Kaiser Wilhlem II.
Lest we forget.
