The Rebel Black Dot Song o' the Day

Magic!, "No Way No" from Don't Kill the Magic (The Last Angry Man)

Commentary: Beneath the pop-reggae rhythms & romantic fluff, there is much truth in Magic!'s lyrics.
"Will I ever back down my sword to protect our home?
No way, no!…"
Men are created to be protectors & our society has suffered much from a century of emasculation. At the heart of all our societal ills—of broken families, of rampant & increasingly random violence, of epidemics of suicide & drug addiction—is a lack of true masculinity, not boorish, childish
machismo, but genuine, protective masculinity. (Make no mistake, we also suffer from a lack of genuine femininity, the true feminine genius.)
