Commentary: 6 January is the traditional date of the Epiphany of the Lord. With the modern revisions to the liturgical calendar, the Epiphanyis celebrated on a Sunday, varying from 2-8 January depending on the day of the week on which the Nativity of the Lord (Christmas Day) falls.
I am very fond of both "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" & "We Three Kings." This medley of the two songs, performed by the powerhouse collaboration of Sarah McLachlan & the Barenaked Ladies makes my soul soar.
