Hollywoodland: Star Trek

In addition to the thirtieth anniversary re-watch of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, I've been listening to the Star Quest Media podcast, Secrets of Star Trek & thinking about Star Trek. I've been unable & unwilling to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation since watching the first season of Star Trek: Picard & learning how deeply the actor Patrick Stewart hates Star Trek & all Trekkies. That said, I am planning to watch the T.N.G. series finale, "All Good Things…," in May, to commemorate its thirtieth anniversary (23 May 1994).
The First Age
1. Star Trek (The Original Series, 1966-1969)
2. Star Trek (The Animated Series, 1973-1974)

The Golden Age
1. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-1999)
2. Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994)
3. Star Trek: Enteprise (2001-2005)
4. Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001)

The Dark Age
1. Star Trek: Picard (2020-2023)
2. Star Trek: Discovery (2017-2024)

Commentary: Jean-Luc Picard died at the end of Picard season one; I have no interest in seasons two & three, in a show called Picard that doesn't feature the man Picard, only an android that has been programmed to believe it is Jean-Luc Picard. I watched the first two seasons of Discovery, which is why I won't watch any more. I've not seen Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, nor Prodigy & have no interest in ever seeing them, given their common roots with Discovery & Picard.
