The University of Michigan Marching Band, "M Fanfare" from Forever Valiant (Mike Papa Wolverine)
Commentary: When Bo Schembechler arrived in Ann Arbor in 1969, he gave a Churchillian speech to the valiant Wolverines, leveling with them about the grueling nature of the training regime ahead, but reassuring them that, "those who stay will be champions!" Many of the valiant Wolverines from Team 143, who had the opportunity to declare for the N.F.L. draft & accummulate enormous treasure, returned to Michigan for Team 144 because they had "unfinished business." In winning the National Championship, that business is now finished, & those who stayed are champions.
