Commentary: Your humble narrator has long presumed a link betwixt Tosk & the Jem'Hadar, & not just because actor Scott MacDonald played both Tosk ("Captive Pursuit") & a Jem'Hadar, Goran'Agar ("Hippocratic Oath"): Tosk sleeps only seventeen minutes per day & the Jem-Hadar don't sleep; both Tosk & the Jem'Hadar can "shroud," the ability to activate a personal, seemingly biological cloaking field. My headcanon has long been that the Founders utilized the Tosk genome in the creation of the Jem'Hadar.
