"He Dead" (season four, episode two; 14 August 2009): Wikipedia-link.
Commentary: The outstanding part of "He Dead" is Christine Baranski's performance as the widow of the titular character, who not once but twice releases the hounds to chase Shawn & Gus out of her house & off of her property.
Though set in Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A., Psych was filmed principally in & around White Rock, British Columbia, the Canadas. The previous episode, "Extradition: British Columbia," played into this by being set in British Columbia. "He Dead" is set back in Santa Barbara, but looks exceedingly Canadian, with many of the scenes taking place on a rainy & very chilly-looking golf course, with fog-shrouded mountains in the background. It looks as much like British Columbia as most extrasolar planets in the Stargate SG-1 universe.
