"Mudd's Women" (season one, episode six; production code: 04; 13 October 1966): Wikipedia-link.
Commentary: "Mudd's Women" introduces the roguish Harry Mudd, the only recurring antagonist on The Original Series, but the bulk of the story is a meditation on the fleeting nature of beauty & the pricelessness of a good woman. "Mudd's Women" was one of the three story treatments offered for the second pilot; it's a good episode, but too small & quiet a story for the crucial second pilot.
