Skammentary: Medium Rare (2007)—a compilation of previously unleased songs, vinyl B-sides, & a trio of brand-new songs—was released in a time of transition: The Mighty Mighty Bosstones had announced that they were playing the multi-night Christmastime homestand, the Hometown Throwdown, in December 2007, but remained non-commital about returning as a full-time, touring band.

"Don't Worry Desmond Dekker" played a big part in encouraging me to explore the music of Desmond Dekker & ska's Jamaica roots.
