Project BLACK MAMBA

Today is the optional memorial of Saint Casimir (1458-1484): Saint-link ūnus, Saint-link duo, & Wikipedia-link.

Commentary: Quoth the bulletin:
Casimir, born of kings & in line to be a king himself, was filled with exceptional values & learning by a great teacher, John Dlugosz (Jan Długosz). He was buried with his favorite song, a Latin hymn to Mary which we know as "Daily, Daily Sing of Mary." Because of his love for the song, it is known as the Hymn of St. Casimir though he didn't write it. Casimir is the patron saint of Poland & Lithuania.
