Project BLACK MAMBA

Today is the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels: Angels-link ūnus, Angels-link duo, & Wikipedia-link.

Commentary: Wayback Machine. Quoth the Holy Redeemer bulletin:
A guardian angel is an angel assigned to protect & guide a particular person, group, kingdom, or country. Belief in guardian angels can be traced throughout all antiquity.
Quoth the Holy Family bulletin:
The angels continuously sing praise to the Lord. Devotion to the guardian angels dates back to the Middle Ages. Psalm 91 says that God, "commands His angels with regard to you, to guard you wherever you go. With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone." This feast reminds us that God sends his angels to protect us.
