Commentary: I visited the Silent Night Chapel in Frankenmuth, Michigan (above) this past summer. I really ought to go again in the winter, perhaps next Christmas—not next Advent, when Bronner's Christmas Wonderland will be a nightmare of frenetic shopping, but next Christmastide, when the pagans (&, sadly, the Protestants & Evangelicals) think Christmas is already over.
