Commentary: Quoth the Holy Redeemer bulletin:
Barnabas appears mainly in Acts... He also appears in several of Paul's epistles. He found the work so extensive & weighty that he went to Tarsus in search of (St.) Paul (25 January, et al.), "an admirable colleague," to assist him. Paul returned with him to Antioch & labored with him for a whole year (Acts, 11:25-26).
