Commentary: The television series The Addams Family & The Munsters both ran for two seasons, from 1964 (September) to 1966 (April & May, respectively). I declare unequivocally, having watched the entire run of both shows this past summer, that The Addams Family is vastly superior to The Munsters.
This is the first repeat Hallowe'en Song o' the Day since this annual R.B.D.S.O.T.D. tradition began in 2010, "The Addams Family Theme" first appearing in 2012. This project was never intended to be a spooky counterpart to SKApril & by not repeating songs, I've been reglecting some Hallowe'en classics. No decision has been reached, but I'm considering making 2022 a "best of" year, maybe taking one song from each of the preceding playlists. We shall see.
