The Queue

This book, this is why the Holy Spirit led the College of Cardinals to elect Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio, Archbishop of Buenos Aires, as Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, & Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, etc. in 2013! Quoting myself, from my Goodreads.com review:
Why on earth did I let so many months pass with Amoris Laetitia sitting neglected on my nightstand? Let us regard one another with greater charity, with greater fidelity to the Gospel, never compromising the truth but also never forgetting that each & every one of us is wounded by sin in this world so awash with deception & degradation. Let us spend our time & our energy, which are not our own but gifts from Him Who made us, building each other up, binding each other's wounds, rather than sitting in judgment of our fellow sinners.
Finding True Happiness is a tiny little thing, only eighty or so pages, a compilation of chapters excerpted from the books Walk with God, Way to Happiness, Way to Inner Peace, & You. I've greatly enjoyed re-runs of the Venerable Archbishop Sheen's (1985-1979) groundbreaking & award-winning television series, Life Is Worth Living, but this will be my first foray into his massive bibliography.

I've moved Paris 1919: Six Months That Changed the World, also published as Peacemakers: The Paris Peace Conference of 1919 & Its Attempt to End War & Peacemakers: Six Months That Changed the World, to the bottom of the queue for the time being. I shall begin reading the book, heaven permitting, in November 2018, after the centenary of the Armistice.
