Commentary: There is a catechuman at my parish preparing for Baptism, a young women our priest & faith formation director have judged ready for the sacrament; instead of waiting until next Easter Vigil, we are reading the scrutiny readings the next three Sundays, to prepare her to be Baptized at the end of the month. So, our readings today were for the Third Sunday of Lent (Year A) instead of the Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year B).
