The Assassinators were my Twitter pal Bravo Charlie's short-lived band from Cleveland ("late 93 to early 95"). I've heard my friends, Flint's own The Loose Ties, on the 23 Minutes of Ska podcast; it's interesting to note both how big & how small the ska world is.
Love them or hate them, ska puns are a part of the genre, thus Grand Wood's far-famed, often-imitated picture American Gothic was parodied as "American Skathic."
