The Rebel Black Dot Song of the Day: SKApril!
Ich Bin Ein Berliner, "Amish Rake Fight" from In Ska We Trust (The Last Angry Man)
Skammentary: Ich Bin Ein Berliner were (are?) a bunch of kids from Metro Detroit who plied their trade in those halcyon years after 1997's "Summer of Ska." The Kennedy iconography continued with a faux radio intro to the first track on In Ska We Trust, "Joe," purporting to be from radio station "WJFK." "Amish Rake Fight" is one of those great, jazz-like, five-minute, mostly instrumental ska songs (at which King Apparatus & Unsteady excel); the only lyrics are the occasional bellow of "Amish rake fight!"

had this album years ago and unfortunately lost it. I've been on the hunt for a replacement since about 2007.
